Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our restoration projects. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality service delivery in water, fire, mold, storm, asbestos and lead, and reconstruction services. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, strong analytical and financial capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

OPERATIONS MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs:
OPERATIONS MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs:
1. Lead All Restoration Operations KPIs: On-time project completion, customer satisfaction scores
· Oversee water, fire, mold, and reconstruction divisions from intake to closeout.
· Enforce detailed job planning and scheduling processes to eliminate delays.
· Implement consistent quality checks and follow-up calls to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
2. Drive Financial Performance KPIs: Gross margin, budget variance, overtime percentage
· Review job budgets weekly with project managers and adjust resource allocation proactively.
· Monitor labor hours closely to align crew deployment with actual work requirements.
· Coach managers on accurate estimating, change order management, and controlling material costs.
3. Manage and Develop Leadership Team KPIs: Manager performance ratings, departmental KPI achievement
· Hold regular one-on-one and team leadership meetings to address performance, priorities, and challenges.
· Provide ongoing training for managers in leadership, financial acumen, and operational efficiency.
· Ensure all leaders have clear, measurable objectives and hold them accountable for results.
4. Ensure Operational Excellence & Compliance KPIs: Safety incident rate, job file completeness, audit pass rate
· Conduct regular safety meetings, field inspections, and hazard assessments.
· Audit job files before invoicing to confirm compliance with industry and company standards.
· Provide targeted training on IICRC, OSHA, and company SOPs to maintain compliance readiness.
5. Optimize Resource Utilization KPIs: Equipment utilization rate, loss/damage incidents
· Train staff on proper use, cleaning, and return procedures to reduce downtime and loss.
· Manage warehouse staff to ensure equipment utilization stays high and vehicle maintenance costs are reduced.
6. Strengthen Client & Partner Relationships KPIs: Repeat/referral rate, partner engagement level
· Maintain consistent communication with insurance adjusters, property managers, and key referral partners.
· Conduct quarterly business reviews with top partners to align expectations and address opportunities.
· Implement service follow-up calls to strengthen client relationships and generate repeat business.
7. Strategic Reporting & Continuous Improvement KPIs: KPI reporting timeliness, number of process improvements implemented
· Compile and distribute operational performance reports to leadership on a consistent schedule.
· Analyze trends in project, financial, and safety performance to identify improvement opportunities.
· Lead quarterly process review sessions with managers to implement and track operational enhancements.

Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in restoration or construction operations management
· IICRC certification(s) preferred (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.)
· Strong knowledge of restoration practices, estimating, and industry compliance standards
· Proficiency with restoration software (e.g., Xactimate, DASH, Albi)
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and teams under pressure
· Strong financial acumen and experience managing job costing and budgets
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Ability to be on call and respond to after-hours emergencies when needed

Working Conditions:
· Work may involve both office and field environments, including active restoration job sites
· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
· Emergency response and availability during off-hours, including nights and weekends, may be required
Compensation: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
